PHOTOGRAPHERS SHOULD WEAR A MASK DURING THE ENTIRE PHOTO SESSION
START EACH SESSION WITH TAKING EVERYONE'S TEMPERATURE!
If anyone is above 98.5 they should not jeapardize others. Reschedule the shoot.
The two most important pieces of equipment in your studio are a viral rated mask and thermometer. If you shoot in your home you must assume your house is infected. All surfaces in your home the Model will touch should be disinfected with sanitary sprays.
You should have at least 72 hours in between each shoot. (This is subject to change)
Wash your hands at least once every hour and disinfect all cables, rigging, light stands that were touched. |
MODELS SHOULD WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES IN BETWEEN TAKING PHOTOS
Keep a social distance from the people you work with. If you're shooting on location try to not touch benches, hand rails and other surfaces used by the public.
Wash your hands frequently especially after you touch furniture, chairs, etc. Make sure to wash your hands before you get back in your car.
Do not share makeup, brushes and clothing. If attire is provided confirm they have been washed for your sessions. |
OUR OFFICIAL POSITION FOR INDUSTRY MANAGEMENT IS TO DELAY ALL PRODUCTION ACTIVITIES UNTIL OFFICIAL AUTHORIZATION FROM AUTHORITIES PERMITS US TO REOPEN.
AUDITIONS SHOULD BE DONE REMOTELY VIA VIDEOPHONE
These are especially tough times for gig workers and people who work in the industry but are independent contractors. Part time crew members are vital for our industry but many do not qualify for Federal stimulus funds because they are not official employees, many work under the radar of taxes. And, if they do get work often they do the tasks on set that require them to handle rigs and props that are touched by others. We don't have official suggestions for the important members of our community but it is amazing some production companies are stepping up to help them through. |
